Welcome to CareNOW: a mobile app that helps care providers of individuals recovering from Substance Use Disorder (SUD). We’ve created comprehensive user guides to teach you about using our app, but here is a quick summary of the basics to get you started.
Gather your requirements

You have a 5-digit Access Code. Your Admin Team will provide you with a unique, 5-digit Access Code. This code connects you to your new HereNOW account and your Clients. If you have not received an Access Code, please reach out to your Admin team or contact support.

You have an iPhone or Android phone to access the app. You can download the iOS app on the Apple store or you can download the Android app from the Google Play store.
Create an account

Open your CareNOW app.

Tap on “Sign Up” and enter your Phone Number and the Access Code you received from your admin team:

Fill in your basic information to set up your profile. If you see your organization’s logo appear on the next screen, that means your Access Code was accepted:

Required fields:Â First name, Email*, Password**
Optional fields: Last Name, Profile Picture
*Email must match your work email.
**Must be at least 8 characters in length and include one capital letter and a special character (i.e. !,@,#,$,%,.^,*,( ),+,=,?>,<)
Set up your profile
You might want to add a profile picture so that you can connect with your clients and other care providers over meetings for a personal touch.
- Tap on the default user icon or Upload profile picture to add a photo:
Once your profile is set up, you will arrive at your Dashboard:
What’s next?
It might look a bit empty at first, but don’t worry – once you begin using and working with CareNOW – like scheduling & attending meetings – it’s going to feel a lot more informative.
HereNOW uses positive reinforcement to encourage your client’s progress, including the meetings they complete and their survey results.
During the outpatient treatment period, you will continue to see your client to review their progress using the app and data they have reported.
